ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Heads
We manufacture our mallet heads out of CeCS Composite™, which makes them almost indestructible (at least by most mortals). They are not affected by strong impacts, moisture, heat shock, freezing temperatures, sun or ultraviolet light, soil acidity, animal dung, or asteroid impacts.
Wedge Angle
Our Optimost!™ wedge angle is the result of many hours of testing and play on some of our toughest courses. The angle is the optimal angle for most shooting situations, and will effectively lift the ball into the air and over most obstructions. With a little practice, most players learn the skill of lofting the ball, and gaining the advanced control of placing their shots on even the most eXtreme terrains.
Handles
We also try to make or handles with the same impact and shock resistance as our mallet heads, but we find there are limits to the stress that can be applied to the handle under eXtreme conditions. Hardwood birch is our handle material of choice. We make it with a stalwart 1.25 inch diameter, which gives our mallets just the right heft, shock absorption and resistance on impacting a ball. Plus, it has the wonderful look and feel of natural wood.
Breakage
We just can't logically guarantee the handle or head against breakage. A big, 200 lb goon hitting an immovable or high inertia object at full swing is something that goes beyond the strength of common materials. We can probably repair it for you for a fee, but impact into terrain is not covered. Sorry everyone ... it's your own fault if you break a handle.
